Trek Itinerary ( 8D/7N )

  • Day 1: Pick up to you from Dehradun railway station drive to Khanyasni camp

    Arrival in the city of Sankri. If you want our transportation, we will meet at ISBT Dehradun at 7 a.m. and drive to Sankri. The Baraadsar Lake trek begins in this small quaint village. In Sankri, spend the night in a guesthouse or hotel.

  • Day 2: Trek from Khanyasni camp to Sarutal camp (05 km) (3/4 Hours)

    Today's trek takes you through some high-altitude villages; first, you must reach Himri, which requires crossing a ridge; the climb is steep, and your trek begins by passing through a pine forest; the climb is steep; take breaks and continue ascending. Since the trail is confusing, stay alert and follow your trek leader.

  • Day 3: Trek from Sarutal camp to Badang camp (08 km) (5/6 Hours)

    Badang is a beautiful meadow, and this is an ideal campsite with fascinating beauty. The hike today will be mild, with only ascents. After experiencing spectacular morning views from Sarutal, have breakfast and depart for Badang.

  • Day 4: Trek from Badang camp to Dhaldhar camp (13 km) (6/7 Hours)

    Breakfast in Badang before departing for Daldhar camp. As you progress, the peaks appear in front of you, and the scenery is breathtaking, you have a 180-degree view from here. Reach your campsite at Dhaldhar & relax here for today.

  • Day 5: Trek from Dhaldhar camp to Devbasa camp (5 km) (3/4 hours)

    Start trekking after you've eaten your breakfast. It will take two hours to get to our campsite Devbasa from Dhal Dhar. This area is plain and rocky, and it is the point where two mountains meet. You can see the Rocky Mountains all around you, and this campsite is windy due to its high elevation and rocky terrain. The trail of Baraadsar can be seen from the Devbasa Gangotri range.

  • Day 6: Trek from Devbasa camp to Baraadsar lake (14 km) (7/8 hours)

    Today's trek is the longest on a rugged path, stretching from Dev Basa to the Baraadsar meadow; you can choose between two routes. The short one is steep and requires crossing a pass to get to your campsite; the long one requires taking a round of the mountain, and the campsite is 3 hours away from that point. Choose wisely based on your abilities.

  • Day 7: Trek from Devbasa camp via lower sural to Kasla (15 km) (6/7 hours)

    Wake up early in the morning & eat your breakfast. Start descending to Sural & then Kasla. After reaching Kasla we will head back to Sankri. Today we will stay in Sankri & enjoy the evening with our newly made friends.

  • Day 8: Sankri to Dehradun by taxi (210 km) (8/9 Hours)

    Wake up early & say a final goodbye to your friends. You'll arrive in Dehradun between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.
